Cameroon Marketing Index Methodology

How the Cameroon Marketing Index Works

The Cameroon Marketing Index is an independent research initiative operated by Evans Kongnyuy. It is not an official government or industry body, and its rankings are not national or regulatory rankings — they are structured, research-based comparisons built on defined criteria and publicly available evidence.

What Informs a Ranking or Research Piece

Depending on the specific research project, rankings and profiles may consider factors such as:

Professional experience
Demonstrated expertise
Public body of work
Digital presence
Published work
Client / project evidence, where publicly available
Professional visibility
Educational contributions
Industry relevance
Other publicly verifiable information

Not every ranking or research project uses every factor above. The specific criteria, weighting and scope are defined for each individual publication and disclosed within that publication itself.

What the Index Does Not Do

The Index does not publish rankings or claims based on personal preference, unverified data, or paid placement. It does not claim to be exhaustive, official, or affiliated with any government or regulatory body. Where information is limited, the Index will state that clearly rather than fill the gap with assumption.

Publishing Standard

Research, rankings and profiles are published only once sufficient, verifiable information has been gathered for that specific category or subject. This means some Index categories may remain empty for a period of time while research is underway — that is intentional.
